COASTAL HOSPITALITY ASSOCIATES COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF THE BAYMONT BY WYNDHAM KITTY HAWK
Kitty Hawk, NC – Coastal Hospitality Associates, LLC (“Coastal Hospitality”) today announced the purchase of the 98-room Baymont by Wyndham Kitty Hawk in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. The transaction finalized on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
Coastal Hospitality, a Virginia Beach, VA based hotel management and development company, will also assume daily management of the hotel, with immediate plans for a light guestroom refreshment over the next few months, in time for the busy spring and summer tourist season.
Beginning in the 4th quarter of 2022, the hotel will temporarily close to undergo an extensive, multi-million dollar renovation and conversion to a Holiday Inn Express. Holiday Inn Express, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is one of the world’s largest and most recognizable brands with over 3000 properties worldwide. Reopening in early 2023, the Holiday Inn Express Kitty Hawk will feature a complimentary hot breakfast, outdoor pool, exercise room, free-to-guest laundry, and complimentary golf cart transportation to and from the beach for guests who prefer not to walk.

Coastal Hospitality also owns and operates the 100-room Holiday Inn Express Nags Head Oceanfront, located only 10 miles south in Nags Head, NC. Originally the Nags Head Inn, the hotel was purchased by Coastal in late 2015 and underwent a similar conversion to the Holiday Inn Express brand.
